Chris Cooper has eleven years of experience in management and finance in the oil and gas industry. Over the past eleven years Mr. Cooper has successfully raised over $70 million dollars primarily through brokered and non-brokered equity issues as well as debt financing.
Mr. Cooper is currently the President, CEO and founder of Northern Sun Exploration Company Inc., a junior oil and gas producer with operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan and the North West Territories. Mr. Cooper also co-founded Choice Resources Corp., an intermediate oil and gas producer that had production of over 1400 boepd, before it was taken over in August 2007 by Buffalo Resources Corp. He co-founded Watch Resources Ltd., another public gas producer with a joint venture with the Fishing Lake Métis Settlement in northern Alberta which underwent a takeover by Pearl Exploration and production Ltd. in December 2007. Mr. Cooper also sits on the board of a few other junior public Companies that he has assisted in their start-up phase, and assisted the Company’s in raising early stage financing.
Mr. Cooper received his B.A. from Hofstra University and his M.B.A. from Dowling College, both in New York State.
